Oxfordshire remained on flood alert Wednesday -- with more rain forecast.
People living in areas at risk were warned to be ready to move possessions yesterday after six rivers were put on flood watch.
In the Witney area parts of the River Windrush flooded into surrounding fields.
Flood warnings remain in place in Botley, Islip, Kennington, Kidlington and Witney.
In Oxford, Osney and Grandpont have also been placed on flood alert.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service is warning people to be prepared to move possessions and clear areas likely to flood to minimise damage.
