Morrells of Oxford Sunday League: Ryan Curtin fired a hat-trick as Six Bells Kidlington fought back to close the gap on Premier Division leaders Rose Hill with a 5-2 win over Morris Motors.
In one of only six league games to survive the weekend's atrocious weather - all the Sam Waters Cup quarter-finals were wiped out - it was Motors who struck first at a wind-swept Stratfield Brake.
However, just before half time, Bells grabbed the equaliser when Lee Cook fired home a James Twiss cross.
Minutes after the break, Bells took the lead when Cook netted during a goalmouth scramble.
Curtin who also turns out for Kidlington's Hellenic League side, added a third with a neat lob, but Morris almost immediately pulled one back.
Curtin, though, was not to be outdone, with two quick strikes completing his treble for his seventh goal in his last four appearances.
It could have been a whole lot worse for Motors, had keeper Tony Williams not pulled off a string of fine saves.
Blackbird Leys Sunday kept up the pressure with a 10-3 thrashing of strugglers Star Royal.
In Division 1, Chris Baker bagged a double as Northway came from behind to beat AFC Vikings 3-1 away from home.
Trailing 1-0 at the break, Northway brought on substitute Aaron Hall, who was returning to action after a long injury lay-off.
His introduction proved decisive with his strong running forcing Vikings back.
Baker lashed in the leveller, before Karl Gray and another strike from Baker put Northway in control.
Saxon Warriors kept up their promotion push from Division 2 with a 2-1 victory over Sporting Launton.
James Taylor set them on the way with a superb lob, before they went 2-0 up midway through the second half, after a three-man move.
Greg Kilkenny's excellent pass saw Dean Ferguson cross the ball for Scott Tabor to head home.
Launton grabbed a consolation goal, but Saxon held on for victory.
In the only other games to take place, Cold Arbour Res secured a valuable point at home to Bookbinders with a 2-2 draw in Division 3.
Berinsfield saw off Smurfit UK in Division 4 with a 6-1 victory to fire them into second spot.
