A school crossing warden accused of assaulting a disabled neighbour is to have her case heard at Oxford Crown Court.
Catherine Morgan, 38, of Goodlake Avenue, Faringdon, made a first appearance before Wantage magistrates on Monday, February 2, with co-defendant William Buchan, of Leamington Spa. Both are alleged to have assaulted Daphne Dunbar on July 12, causing her actual bodily harm.
Morgan is employed by Oxfordshire County Council as a lollipop lady at the junction of Canada Lane and Lechlade Road in Faringdon.
Although magistrates agreed to deal with the case, both Morgan and Buchan opted for a Crown Court hearing.
They were both given unconditional bail for the committal hearing on March 13.
