Banbury Utd 6, Hook Norton 1: George Redknap hit a brace as Banbury United cantered into the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup for the first time in four seasons in last night's derby clash.
Hook Norton, who ground-share with Banbury, had the best of the opening exchanges, before the home side took control.
On 15 minutes, they went ahead through Jon Corbett, before Redknap doubled their lead with his first goal of the contest.
Banbury keeper Simon Tricker then tipped over a free-kick, before Chris Jackson made it 3-0.
Hooky pulled a goal back from the spot through Sammy Ibrahim after Jackson handled, but Wayne Blossom added No 4 for Banbury after the break.
Redknap then grabbed his second goal, with Chris Potter completing the scoring.
