John Fathers Oxon Junior Shield: Striker Gary Wickens signed off for Bakels Crusaders in style, grabbing the extra-time golden goal winner as they fought back to beat Carterton Rangers 3-2.

Trailing 2-0 at the break to goals from Lee Williams and John Smailes, Brent Leonard pulled a goal back before Wickens, who was playing his last game before moving to Hellenic League side Bicester Town levelled with a low drive to send the tie into extra-time.

Wickens then fired home the winner to send Bakels into the semi-finals for the first time.

They will play Aston at home into the last four, who pulled off a big shock by beating Premier Division Charlbury Town 3-2.

The Witney & District Division 1 outfit also reached the last four for the first time after a hard-fought victory in blustery conditions.

Jason Garner put Aston ahead from the penalty spot after Phil Caswell was brought down by Steve Fitzgerald.

Two minutes later, the lead was doubled when Kevin Alcraft scored direct from a corner.

Stuart Donald gave Premier Division Charlbury some hope by pulling a goal back just before half-time, but Aston re-established their two-goal advantage when Andy McCall fired home with his left foot.

Martin Grimsley set up an exciting finish when he made it 3-2, but Aston held on for victory.

Morris Motors midfielder Imran Faruq suffered a broken leg as they lost 3-1 at home to Steeple Aston.

The game was only 15 minutes old when Faruq was stretchered off.

Anthony Bullen and Jack Donaldson gave Steeple a 2-0 lead, before Dean Joseph replied for Motors, heading in Abdul Sheehab's cross.

Cleve Evans then eased Steeple's nerves with their third goal.

Now, Steeple entertain the winners of the Brize Norton or Napier Rovers tie, which is being played this weekend.
