Henley Hawks hope to have England sevens star Nnamdi Obi available again for their crunch National League 1 relegation clash with Coventry at Dry Leas tomorrow.
Obi should return after representing his country at the New Zealand leg of the IRB Sevens.
Hawks are just two points ahead of the second-from-bottom Midlands outfit, and victory tomorrow would be a big boost to their hopes of avoiding the drop.
Although there are still eight games to be played, this is the Hawks' last game against a team currently in the bottom four.
Coventry still have to play bottom side Manchester at home and also travel to struggling Wake- field.
Flanker Jeff Atkinson returns from Australia, while hooker Jim Hamilton-Smith also comes back into the squad after three weeks off with injury.
Hawks will be without Oxford University No 8 Tom Hayman, who captains England Students against Italy Under 25s. Adam Hopcroft is also facing the Italians.
Oxford Harlequins entertain struggling Barnstaple in South West 1.
Lock Lee Pearce is set to make his debut for the first team.
Banbury are again forced to shuffle their depleted resources for their trip to Newark in Midlands 2 East.
Flanker Mark Herlihy is unavailable, and Sean Bannister is set to take his place provided a minor injury picked up last week has healed.
In the backs, coach Simon Purnell moves to fly half, with Peter Flemming taking his place in the centre.
Youngster Tom Battley comes in on the wing for James Taylor, who is carrying an injury but may be fit enough to take a place on the bench.
