Edredon Bleu, the trail-blazing star from Henrietta Knight's West Lockinge stables, near Wantage, signed off his campaign with an exhibition round at Wincanton yesterday.
The 12-year-old made it five out of five for the season with a comfortable length and three-quarter defeat of Exit Swinger in the Betfair Chase.
Knight, whose charge has now won 20 of his 40 starts and almost £680,000 in prize money, said: "I cannot see him turning out again this season."
The Pertemps King George VI Chase hero could next be seen in either the Galway Plate in July or the Desert Orchid Chase back at Wincanton in October.
