Linch Hill fishery's Willow Pool near Stanton Harcourt has produced a staggering catch of quality roach for Keith Tailby.
The Leicester specimen hunter caught not just one 2lb roach - the magical target for most anglers - but 18 of them, topped by a monster of 3.14.0.
Tailby spent three days on the water and gradually built up his swim by using a maggot-feeder in conjunction with a double hook rig.
In all, he had more than 40 roach over 1.12.0.
This remarkable catch puts Linch Hill on the map as one of the best roach fisheries in the country.
