College Students in Banbury have been encouraged to be more tolerant towards people from ethnic minorities.
The New Directions project is running at the Banbury campus of the Oxford and Cherwell College.
Students aged 16-19 have been involved in lectures and workshops to raise awareness of prejudice, bias, and stereotyping in everyday life.
Adrian Bhatti, the police community race relations officer for north Oxfordshire, said: "The project is not just about race. It includes disability, the north/south divide, and the travelling fraternity."
He said: "The idea was to help students at this college understand different backgrounds and different ways of life. We do not want students to have preconceived ideas about other people."
