North Leigh 1, Abingdon Utd 2: In-form Abingdon inflicted another Hellenic League Premier Division defeat on unconvincing champions North Leigh on Saturday.
Hesitation in the North Leigh defence let in striker Anaclet Odhiambo to give the visitors an early lead.
After losing Sean Bott with a muscle pull, North Leigh regrouped and forced an equaliser four minutes after the break when defender Mark Lewis headed in.
Neat inter-passing set up Dean Moss and his sweet finish restored Abingdon's lead midway through the second half.
The game finished in controversy as North Leigh had a late equaliser ruled out for a foul on the Abingdon keeper Carl Wilkins, who was then booked along with North Leigh's Mark Lewis for continuing to argue the decision.
Tuffley Rov 1, Chipping Norton Tn 2: Chippy recorded their first win in eight matches with a hard-fought victory over a battling Rovers.
The home side started strongly, keeper Richard Barrett saving well from John Meadows, and defender Richard Archer clearing Alan Tatton's shot off the line.
After soaking up most of the pressure for the first half-hour, Chippy scored on 32 minutes. A corner from Robbie Wyatt was fumbled by Tuffley keeper Scott Rose and debutant Mark Johnson netted.
Sixty seconds later, a poor back pass by Tuffley's Steven Hickey let Mark Odom through to slot the ball past Rose for his 15th goal of the season.
The home side came out strongly in the second half, but without really troubling Barrett until the 69th minute when Carl Cresswell was adjudged to be tripped by Archer in the box. John Meadows calmly put the spot kick away.
Bishops Cleeve 1, Carterton Tn 0: Carterton went down to a disappointing defeat at Bishops Cleeve.
The sides cancelled each other out in the first half, in which Kenny Clark went close for the visitors.
In the 65th minute, a speculative clearance by the home keeper was collected by Kevin Kline who was brought down just outside the 18-yard box.
He took the free-kick himself, curling home a left-foot shot for the winner.
Carterton pressed the home side for the rest of the match, but failed to trouble the keeper.
Didcot Tn 7, Fairford Tn 1: Leaders Didcot turned on the style with a demolition of in-form Fairford thanks to a Scott Taylor hat-trick.
Taylor opened his account in the 12th minute, heading home from close range, and a Paul Powell free-kick in the 23rd minute saw Andy Parrott back-heel the ball past keeper Price for No 2.
Ian Concannon bagged Didcot's third and it became 4-0 just before the break when Lee Fuller crossed for Taylor to nod home.
Fairford cut the arrears early in the second half through Lee Clark, but it was not long before normal service was resumed as Taylor completed his hat-trick.
Jody McKay then notched his first for the club on the hour, and substitute Danny Morgan made it 7-1 with 20 minutes remaining.
Fairford's Courtney Chessell and Concannon both struck the crossbar before the finish.
Slimbridge 1, Brackley Tn 3: Brackley hit back after conceding a fifth-minute penalty in the Supplementary Cup.
Craig Cole converted the home side's early spot-kick, and five minutes later, Brackley were awarded a penalty themsleves, but Kevin Slinn's effort was saved.
Meadows was sent off after an awful lunge on Brackley's Louis Pilgrim and they were made to pay after the break.
Slinn levelled from a Pilgrim cross, Neil King got the second after good play from Ben Milner, and Andrew Baird completed the scoring with a near-post header from another Pilgrim cross.
