Oxfordshire Senior League: Kidlington Old Boys threw away the lead as they drew 1-1 against Premier Division championship rivals Eynsham.

In an entertaining top-of-the-table clash, Eynsham had to withstand some concerted Kidlington pressure, before a swift counter-attack saw Tom Ovington shoot over from two yards.

Eynsham were rueing that miss, when Paul Faulkner fired the home side in front.

Early in the second half, though, Eynsham were level when Tom Jerred's superb 20-yard drive found the back of the Kidlington net.

Stuart Wells scored the only goal of the game as Worcester College Old Boys & Bletchingdon got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over basement boys Yarnton.

After Wells's opener, Paul Creed had the chance to make it 2-0, but blasted his spot-kick over the bar.

OUP stretched their unbeaten league run to 11 matches with a 3-1 win over Chadlington.

Dan Leggett fired OUP ahead in the first half from Matthew Cooper's cross, before Steve McMahon netted No 2 after beating Chadlington's off-side trap.

Bailey Harmann netted OUP's third, with Chadlington grabbing a late consolation through Shane Peedle.

In Division 2A, a late equaliser from Dale Goodgame salvaged a point for Kidlington Res as they drew 3-3 with Eynsham Res.

Eynsham twice came from behind, only for Goodgame to ruin their hopes.

Kidlington's other goals came from Paul Machin and Marc Peedal, while Peter Higgins, Russel Whitlock and James Reeves replied.

Charlton Res's Neil Bustin suffered a broken leg, causing their game with BCS Bardwell Res to be abandoned after 70 minutes with Bardwell leading 3-0.

Charlton started the stronger with Bardwell's keeper Steve Crooks making a brilliant save, before Andy Hudson broke the deadlock after Stuart Hagan's shot had been kept out by Charlton's keeper Darren Cooper.

Adam Dawe then made it 2-0 to Bardwell just before half time. Hudson grabbed his second of the contest, before Bustin suffered his injury in a 50-50 challenge with Dawe.
