Autotype UTV League: James Hawthorne smashed a double as Saxton Rovers kept up the pressure at the top of the Division 1 table with a 2-0 home victory over Abbott Medisense.
The hosts took control early on thanks to a Hawthorne strike, but they were grateful to their keeper Jonathan Beames, who made three excellent saves to deny Abbott an equaliser.
And with 15 minutes left, Hawthorne fastened onto a clearance before running 25 yards and netting his second of the contest.
Forest Hill had to settle for a share of the spoils as they battled to a 2-2 draw against East Hendred, despite twice taking the lead.
Alex Clanfield fired Forest ahead after only 90 seconds.
But to their credit, Hendred battled back with the equaliser from Alan Jones.
Charlie Lacroix then re-established Forest's lead, but Hendred came back with Simon Burgoyne's leveller.
The visitors might have won the game, but had a goal ruled out for a foul on the keeper.
Goals from Andrew Cummings and Steve King secured a 2-0 win for Sandman against Athletico Indaline.
Alfredian Rebels threw away a three-goal lead as they drew 4-4 with Division 2 rivals Standlake.
Goals from Mark Brind, Alex Lynch and Ross Tyler appeared to put Rebels in control, only for Standlake to storm back and take a 4-3 lead through Mevlet Gundem (2), Mark Saxel and Dave Holiday.
However, Standlake's hopes of snatching a win ended when Warren Griffin lashed home from the spot late on to salvage a draw.
A strike five minutes from time from David Brennan sealed a 1-0 win for Division 3A leaders AFC Kidlington at home toClanfield 85.
