A man found dead at a house in east Oxford earlier this week was named today.
He was Lee Jordan, a second-year undergraduate at Oxford Brookes University.
Mr Jordan, who lived in student accommodation in Hurst Street, was found by one of his housemates shortly before noon on Monday.
Police were alerted by an ambulance crew who were called to the address by the shocked students.
At the time of going to press, the university was unable to give any further details about Mr Jordan, who was in his 20s and came from outside Oxfordshire.
A spokesman said: "We'd like to say how sorry we are to hear of the death of one of our students.
"We are liaising with the family and the students who shared the house with him to offer any help we can.
"His death is still unexplained, but a post mortem is scheduled to take place today."
