South Oxfordshire Amateurs brought a mixed first week of their tour of Australia to a successful conclusion with a five-wicket victory over The Lord's Taverners at Centennial Park, Sydney.
A sparkling unbeaten 40 by Matthew Lee, including four sixes, saw SOA home with nine balls to spare.
His brother Danny had earlier set up the win with an aggressive 41 after their opponents had been dismissed for 136.
SOA lost a low-scoring opening game against Cranbrookians by two wickets before suffering decisive defeats against NSW Cricketers Club and I Zingari Australia.
When the tour transferred to Melbourne, SOA had the misfortune to bat first on a wet wicket against 49ers and were bowled out for 84.
But in a thrilling contest, SOA nearly pulled off a miraculous victory, with the home side scrambling home by one wicket in a thrilling finish.
