Oxford City have received a massive boost after midfielder Justin Lee re-joined the club from Banbury United, less than a month after he left Court Place Farm.
It's a big blow for Banbury manager Kevin Brock who fought hard to get the ex-professional to Spencer Stadium.
Earlier this week, Lee, 33, contacted City boss Andy Sinnott about returning.
Sinnott said: "I just think he didn't settle there. He was unsure when he left us.
"I'm more than happy to have him back again, and I think the fans will be too. It's a real boost.
Brock said: "We had a chat and I agreed to let him go. I thought Justin would give us a lot more, but I was disapp- ointed with his form. He said he found the pace of our league quicker than he expected."
Lee goes straight into the City side which travels to Ryman League Division 1 North rivals Aveley tom- orrow.
City will be without midfielder Kevin Lewis (hamstring).
Meanwhile, City keeper Steve Benbow has won the Safe Hands award for January. He conceded only six goals in seven games.
Thame United have suffered another blow after striker John Mitchell was ruled out of their home game with Wivenhoe Town.
Mitchell went off early during Tuesday's goalless draw with East Thurrock after damaging a hamstring, sidelining him for three weeks.
Manager Mark West, whose side have drawn both games since a 5-0 drubbing at Berkhamsted, said: "Since we changed our tactics we've only conceded a goal, and I'm looking for us to keep it tight."
Midfielder Justin Merritt continues his recovery from a knee injury as he plays for the reserves at Wingate.
Abingdon Town will be at full strength at home to Division 2 rivals Flackwell Heath.
Although Town lost 3-2 to leaders Hertford last week, manager Paul Berry was pleased with the display: "We now need to build on that performance," he said.
Banbury United will be without their injured ex-Oxford United defender Les Robinson (knee) for the visit of Bashley.
Brock said victory was vital to enable them to stay in touch with the top seven. "It's the most important game of the season," he said.
