Abingdon Library will be open on Saturday, February 28, to show off new technology, including broadband computers that bring faster Internet access.
A new computerised library system has also been introduced which means a catalogue of more than a million publications from libraries across Oxfordshire is available on the Internet.
Visitors will be able to see the new IT suite, find out about the new computer-based services, enrol for free Internet taster sessions and learn about word processing and other facilities.
Advice will also be available on how to access the Oxfordshire libraries online catalogue and discover what resources are available through the network terminals.
Visitors will have the chance to talk to staff about IT courses and receive help from local organisations, including Adult and Community Learning and Abingdon and Witney College.
