Banbury Utd 1, Bashley 0: Ady Fuller grabbed the winner as Banbury United recorded their first back-to-back Dr Martens Eastern Division victories since December in Saturday's clash at the Spencer Stadium.
In a tight game, it wasn't until the 26th minute that Banbury had their first real chance, but Bashley keeper Jason Harvell did well to block Jason Allen's effort after Chris Jackson's free-kick found him at the far post.
After the break, the game followed a similar pattern, though Banbury, for whom former Sheffield Wednesday player David Billington was outstanding, started to boss the midfield.
On 75 minutes, Banbury made the breakthrough.
Wayne Blossom's centre into the area was handled by Bashley centre back Andy Darnton.
Fuller then smashed home the resulting spot-kick to seal the win and keep up their promotion hopes.
Banbury Utd: Tricker, Fuller, Jackson (Blossom 51), Sullivan, Allen, Eldridge, Stanbridge, Billington, Simms (Stidder 81), Redknap, Potter. Subs not used: O'Neill, Brock.
Attendance: 253.
