Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Division 1 Witney Utd 2, Kidlington 4

Kidlington brought Division 1 West high-fliers Witney down to earth after dominating the majority of the game.

All Kidlington's goals came in the first 35 minutes, the highlight being a six-minute hat-trick by leading scorer Luke Holden, and this after Witney had been gifted the lead on four minutes through Darren Teggart.

The home side's joy lasted barely a minute before Steve Litten blasted home to make it 1-1.

Litten was then upended in the penalty area and Holden converted from the spot, followed by his second - a stunning shot after a fine individual run.

Holden completed his hat-trick when he dispossessed Witney keeper Paul Tassell on the edge of his box to slot home for 4-1.

The only further goal came after the break when Teggart netted his and Witney's second.

Harrow Hill 0, Ardley Utd 1

New boy Tristan Lawrence, signed only three hours before the kick-off, secured all three points to keep Ardley in the title race.

The first half ended in stalemate, but it took only five minutes of the second for Lawrence to deflect a Tony Bott shot wide of the keeper.

Harrow Hill could have equalised five minutes later, but a top-drawer save by Martin Woodward denied them and a further chance was squandered when Andy Simmonds blasted a penalty over the bar.

Cheltenham S 1, Middle Barton 3

Middle Barton came from behind to pick up three vital points.

The home side took the lead in the 25th minute, but Andy Robey converted a free-kick to make it 1-1 on the half-hour.

Keith Harrison scored Barton's second in the 50th minute and Robey converted a penalty 15 minutes later after James Standon was fouled.

Solid debut performances from Ollie Prentice, Wayne Hawkins and James Standon proved invaluable for Middle Barton.

Shrivenham Tn 3, Clanfield 1

Clanfield went down at Shrivenham who went ahead in the third minute through Steve Winchcombe.

The visitors were incensed when player-manager Mark Bowles appeared to be elbowed and the referee took no action.

The official also missed a bad foul on Clanfield defender Steve Williams which requiring a precautionary hospital visit.

Clanfield took the game to their second-placed hosts, but disaster struck when Martin Latimer was sent off for a goal-line handball and Nathan Holt converted the penalty. Two minutes later, Alex Green made it three.

Gary Wright converted a penalty for Clanfield's consolation.

Quarry Nomads 0, Ross Tn 3

For the second week running, Quarry fell behind to an early penalty and never recovered.

Their cause was not helped by losing keeper Darren Kinch with an injury, but early in the second half, the home side wasted several chances before Ross made it 2-0.

A third five minutes before the end completed Quarry's misery.

Prestwood 1, Wantage Tn 2

Division 1 East leaders Wantage maintained their unbeaten away record despite a totally inept performance at much-improved Prestwood.

Wantage owed their victory to some inspired goalkeeping from Paul Belcher.

Prestwood went in front midway through the first half, Pontin scoring with a free header, but Wantage equalised just after the half-hour through a Lee Newport header.

The home side had the better of the second half and wasted some good chances before Paul Day popped up with the winner for Town after JP Mills's cross caused panic in the Prestwood defence.
