Modern Art Oxford opened its doors to find the cream of local talent for an exhibition entitled The Oxford Show.
Helen Peacocke, arts writer for the Oxford Mail's sister paper The Oxford Times, sifted through more than 300 submissions with Modern Art Oxford director Andrew Nairne to pick the final 27 artists.
It is the first time in more than two decades that the gallery has organised an open-submission display. The exhibition runs until Sunday, March 21.
