Police were called after about 400 people held an illegal rave in a Banbury warehouse, but officers let the clubbers carry on.
A member of the public alerted police as vehicles gathered outside the empty building in Beaumont Close shortly before 1am on February 22.
Because of the number of people involved and as the warehouse was not near homes, officers monitored the situation. The rave stopped at 11am and everyone left by the afternoon.
One person was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol. A small number of complaints were received about noise and traffic obstructions.
