Witney & District FA: West Witney's title hopes suffered a massive setback when they were soundly beaten 3-0 by Hanborough in the Premier Division.

First-half strikes from Lee Williams, Matt Herrin and Martin Lambourne sent West crashing to defeat.

Bampton Town ran out 3-1 winners over Charlbury.

Andy Jamieson (2) and Mark Carrington scored for Bampton, with Sean Gilbert replying.

Gary Angus headed a late winner as Carterton Town B edged to a 3-2 victory against Brize Norton Res to stay top of Division 2.

Steve Morgan and Karl Dodds put Town 2-0 ahead, but after Leo Haines and Steve Monk had levelled the scores, Angus netted a late winner.

In Division 3, Carterton Rangers Res thrashed leaders West Witney Res 7-1.

Witney took the lead through Wayne Harding, but Rangers led 3-1 by half-time, thanks to Paul Doherty, Alex Roberts and Stu Crangle.

After the break, Roberts completed a four-timer to add to Carl Austin's strike.

Ian Luckett hit a five-timer in Millpark's 7-2 victory over Ascott. Mike Bolt and Mike Dove scored the others, with Ian Bryan and Russell Hawtin replying.

Old Headington trounced Witney Royals Res 9-2, with Nolan Aselford hitting five.

Ross Downs (3) and Matt White were also on target, with Jamie Shepherd grabbing a double for Royals.

Carterton Town A cruised into the final of the Fred Ford Cup with a 7-0 victory over Charlbury.

Carterton led 2-0 by half-time through Dan Kearney and Darryl Kew, before turning on the style in the second half with further goals from Will Griffiths (2), Daniel King, Darryl Steele and Scott Walters.OTHER SCORERS
