Five young weightlifters from the St Birinus School Club at Didcot helped England to victory in an international in Spain.
Peter Dutton, 13, led the way with a British record in the event at Almeria.
Competing in the under 17 section, he posted a snatch of 57.5k and a clean and jerk of 75k for a total 132.5k - a national record for an under 14 50k lifter.
Nick Madani, 15, matched his total with a snatch of 60k and a clean and jerk of 72.5k for a personal best combination.
And Ben Watson, 13, also recorded a personal best with 125k following a snatch of 57.5k and a clean and jerk of 67.5k.
Merlin Cox, 14, posted 50k in the snatch and 65k in the clean and jerk for 115k.
Jack Jones, 14, was struggling with injury as he put up a total of 85k, with a snatch of 42.5k and a clean and jerk of 42.5k.
Now the St Birinus lifters have set their sights on the Great Britain Championships that are to be held at Baverstock School, Birmingham on Saturday, March 27.
Impressive performances there could help earn them places in the British team for the European Championships that take place at Stavanger, Norway from July 26 to August 2.
