Redefield A are champions of Division 1 of the Five Disciplines Badminton League after a 132-86 win over Feathers A in the final round of matches.
Gosford Hill A had a mathematical chance of claiming the crown approaching the last hurdle.
And while they did their bit by seeing off Feathers B with a maximum 150-24 triumph, Redefield did enough to lift the title.
Nick Raven and Annie Richards set Redefield on their way by claiming a mixed win in the opening discipline.
Caroline Ashdown then continued the good work with an upset victory over the favoured Emma Martin in the women's singles.
However, Martin gained her revenge with Feathers' only win of the match, teaming up with Hayley Davies to beat Ashdown and Heather Titcomb 15-4, 15-8.
Dave Soanes won his singles and the mixed for Redefield.
Radley & Oxford finished third, but they might well reflect on what might have been, as they beat both of the top two teams during the course of the campaign.
Results: Redefield A 132, Feathers A 86; Gosford Hill A 150, Feathers B 24; Abingdon A 131, The Park 104; Radley and Oxford 143, Gosford Hill B 77.
Final standings: 1 Redefield A 1117pts, 2 Gosford Hill A 1053, 3 Radley & Oxford 1008, 4 Feathers A 964, 5 Abingdon A 954, 6 Gosford Hill B 716, 7 Oxford University 685, 8 The Park 662 (relegated), 9 Feathers B 595 (relegated).
It has been a successful couple of weeks for the Redefield club, as their A team are also champions of Mixed Division 1 of the Oxford & District League.
They finished the campaign on 78 points, 11 clear of second-placed Gosford Hill A, with Abingdon A in third spot.
