Wokingham Tn 0, Abingdon Tn 2: Abingdon Town made it two successive Ryman League Division 2 victories out of two with an impressive performance in Berkshire yesterday.
It was also the first time that manager Paul Berry has recorded back-to-back victories since he took over last November.
Town were ahead in less than two minutes, Mark Scanes firing home after Matty Whitehead's free-kick was blocked.
Luke Beauchamp and Tom Butler went close for Town as they dominated the first half.
After the break, Luke Beauchamp again went close, before substitute Tim Barton mis-kicked six yards out.
Town were grateful to Roger Charles who cleared off the line after Paul Wetherall almost caught out keeper Chris Brain.
Barton had a shot saved before Luke Beauchamp sealed the win with a right-foot shot from brother Joey's excellent cross.
Abingdon Tn: Brain, Douglas (Clarke 45), Scanes, Clare (Barton 80), Davis, Johnson, Whitehead, Charles, L Beauchamp, Butler, J Beauchamp (Tomkins 85).
