Plans are being made to ensure this summer's Blenheim Palace flower show proves another hit with green-fingered garden lovers.
Last year's show
Last year more than 50,000 people flocked to the four-day show which featured 11 show gardens, 280 exhibitors from across the country, and the worlds longest flower bed.
As preparations are made for this year's event, which will run from Thursday, June 10, to Sunday, June 13, organisers are using the results of a questionnaire filled in by visitors last year to work out what people want to see at the show. Dennis Rawlings, managing director of organisers, Even Innovations Limited, said: "We really appreciated people's co-operation in taking time for the survey, particularly at the end of a pretty long day for them touring the show.
"They were very positive about the flower show and almost without exception they confirmed they had not only enjoyed themselves, but had bought something."
The central attraction of this year's event will be the Floral Pavilion. There will also be a food and wine parade, a craft village and a plant 'creche'.
