Oxfordshire Senior League: Paul Flack struck twice as Horspath lifted the Presidents Cup for the first time with a 3-1 victory over Division 1 rivals BCS Bardwell in the final at Oxford University Press.
Flack fired Horspath ahead 15 minutes into Monday's encounter after Jon Weeks-Pearson flicked on Paul Cooper's corner.
With a crowd of around 200 looking on, the game boiled over when a bad tackle by Horspath's John Malik was met by retaliation, and both players were sent off.
Bardwell hit a post before the break, but ten minutes into the second half, Horspath increased their lead when Weeks-Pearson headed home another Cooper corner.
Horspath were playing with plenty of confidence by this stage, and they sealed victory with a quality goal.
Andy Kirtland and Simon Burton were involved before Andy Cummings's cross from the right was headed home at the far post by Flack for his second.
Bardwell kept battling, and were rewarded with a consolation goal in the dying minutes.
But by then Horspath were already looking forward to the celebrations
Eynsham maintained their bid for the Premier Division championship with a 3-0 win at Chadlington.
They took a deserved lead on 20 minutes when James Blackmore scored after getting behind Chadlington's defence.
Mathew Philips doubled Eynsham's lead midway through the second half following a well-worked free-kick.
And Richard Bustin then sealed the points with a fine solo effort.
