David Feore (+50) was in tremendous form as he helped Thame A reach the final of the Stephen Reiss Cup with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Newtrim.
Thame's success proved very decisive, with a massive 571-407 aggregate score.
Feore ran riot against Bob Chivers (-40), thrashing the Newtrim player 200-45 and making a 32 break in the process.
Simon Aries (-60) fought back for Newtrim against Paul Evans (+70), compiling a magnificent break of 66 in his 200-171 victory to level the scores.
But Thame held a 371-245 aggregate lead, and in the final game, Lee Richardson (-30) sealed victory with a 200-162 win against Paul Robinson (scratch).
Robinson had led 100-67, but Richardson replied with a break of 27 to secure the win.
Division 2 side Cowley Con A stunned Division 1 leaders Witney with a 4-1 victory to reach the final, but despite the scoreline, it was a close-run thing, Cowley's aggregate win of 495-479 securing the two bonus points.
Dick Hashman (-20) gave Cowley a good start with a 200-139 win against Steve Mill (+60), before Keith Pearce (+70) made it 2-0 with a 200-190 win over Terry Cook (+30).
This gave Cowley an aggregate advantage of 71 points going into the final game.
Malcolm Grievson (+110) needed to reach 30 points, as Gavin Wright (+60) had to give him a 50-point handicap start.
Wright's task proved impossible, as Grieveson slowly but surely edged towards his target.
Wright won the game 150-95, but Cowley secured a 16-point aggregate victory for the additional two points.
