Politicians rely on the public's short memories to get re-elected.
It is getting near election time again. It is up to us to let them know this time we have not forgotten.
Who blew £5.1m on Cornmarket Street? Who ordered eight seats for £240,000? Who lost £1m for five years? Who decided to build a temporary night shelter in St Ebbe's against the wishes of the locals? Who gave us that obscene council tax rise last year, and again well over inflation, this year?
Who decided to ban cars from the city centre, then doesn't enforce it?
Who was given a £20,000 rise while all workers had to settle for inflation rises?
Who puts bumps and chicanes on the roads only to find they are not needed and have to remove them?
I could go on for hours. Nearly every town and village has suffered from bad management in the last few years. Let them know we have not forgotten this time.
