Oxford Silver Machine promoter Nigel Wagstaff plans to study video evidence of the controversial eighth heat in Oxford Silver Machine's KO Cup defeat by Arena Essex last week.
Both Oxford riders were excluded in separate incidents, with Arena completing a dramatic one-point aggregate victory in the last race.
Wagstaff said: "I will be studying the video footage closely, and will be interested to see what happened."
The race had to be re-run twice, and on each occasion an Oxford rider was excluded.
This handed the Hammers a 5-0 which contributed greatly to Oxford's exit from this year's competition.
Wagstaff was unhappy with the decisions at the time and feels that something was wrong.
He added: "I have never experienced a situation where both riders from the same team were excluded in two separate first-bend incidents.
"The decisions seem even more strange when you consider the track at Arena has very tight bends."
Although the clash was not televised, there was a video made of the meeting.
Wagstaff added: "Although I did not have a perfect view of the incidents, both riders involved insisted they had been excluded unfairly.
"I have also had several independent people contact me expressing their amazement at the decisions."
