Oxford Silver Machine face another tough test tonight when they take on five-times world champion Tony Rickardsson and his all-conquering Poole Pirates in an Airtech challenge at the Stadium (7.30).

Oxford hope to welcome back the influential Greg Hancock who has missed the last three meetings after suffering a shoulder injury in the home clash with Ipswich a couple of weeks ago.

If, as expected, Hancock does return, it will be only the third time this season that Oxford have been able to track a full team.

That statistic alone makes Oxford's third position in the Skybet Elite League look even better. Poole are in second place behind Ipswich.

Silver Machine will be looking to continue their dominant home form and turn Sandy Lane into 'Fortress Cowley'.

Oxford fans will also have the opportunity to welcome back ex-Cheetah Mark Lemon who lines up at reserve.

The Pirates always go well at Oxford, thanks in no small part to Rickadsson, who is again in cracking form this season.

He is ably backed up by Jason Lyons and the entertaining Magnus Zetterstrom.

The match also sees Oxford's Jonas Davidsson line up against his elder brother, Daniel, which will ensure some family rivalry.

Oxford: G Hancock, T McGowan, R Fisher, N-K Iversen, S Ulamek, J Davidsson, R Dobrucki.

Poole: J Lyons, B Pedersen, M Zetterstrom, B Pedersen, T Rickardsson, M Lemon, A Lindback.
