Bicester Tn 0, Didcot Tn 1: A stunning goal from teenager Jack King - his first for the club - gave Didcot victory at Bicester on Saturday in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
The vital win keeps them in with a chance of the Premier Division title and sets up their crunch clash away to new leaders Slimbridge tomorrow night.
Didcot got the winner midway through the first half with the first real chance of the match for either side.
King picked up the loose ball nearly 30 yards out and drove an unstoppable shot past Stephen Lewis.
Paul Powell was denied by Lewis before the break and also in the 74th minute when his goalbound shot was scrambled clear.
In the 85th minute, with their only chance of the game, Kerry shot over for Bicester from 20 yards.
Brackley Tn 1, Slimbridge 2: Brackley were displaced at the top of the table by Slimbridge in an entertaining game watched by a crowd of 200-plus.
The visitors opened the scoring after a near-post corner was not dealt with and Julian Freeman squeezed his header home.
Slimbridge increased their lead on 38 minutes with a fine flowing move that ended with Craig Cole smashing in a volley from ten yards.
Brackley's top scorer Ben Milner pulled a goal back with a fine header just before the break to give the home side hope.
The second half was one-way traffic as Brackley laid siege to the Slimbridge goal, but they could not make their pressure count.
Abingdon Utd 2, Highworth Tn 0: Abingdon leapt above their visitors with this win, but it took a long time for them to get going.
United edged the first half, but could only create half chances.
Thirteen minutes into the second half, a long ball to the near post fell at the feet of Andy Marriott, who scored to put United ahead.
Highworth replied with an effort from Jack which came back off the bar.
Ani Odhiambo had three efforts late in the game, two of them well saved by Jackson, while a lob from 12 yards cleared the bar, before Michaes Herbert cracked home No 2 from a corner.
Carterton Tn 1, Hungerford Tn 0: Carterton put paid to Hungerford's top-three aspirations, despite losing Gary Brown after 35 minutes with a hamstring injury.
The home side had the strong wind at their backs in the first half, but never seriously threatened.
Hungerford's Thorpe saw his shot rebound off a post soon after the break, but Carterton snatched the winner 11 minutes from time when Mortimer-Jones was fouled in the box and Butt made no mistake from the spot.
Pewsey Vale 4, North Leigh 1: A below-par performance saw North Leigh slump to defeat on a poor surface at lowly Pewsey Vale.
Craig Wall fired Pewsey in front midway through the first half, but a screaming 25-yard volley from Robbie Wyatt levelled the scores before the interval.
Pewsey made good use of the strong wind at their backs in the second half, adding three further goals from Matty Messenger (2) and Barry Flippance, to complete a miserable afternoon for the west Oxfordshire team.
Chipping Norton Tn 2, Gloucester Utd 1: Chippy were given a scare by bottom-of-the-table Gloucester, before rallying to collect all three points.
Dean Cawley gave the visitors the lead on five minutes, but Chippy levelled five minutes later when a superb 25-yard free-kick from Andrew Helby went in off the crossbar.
On 27 minutes, Chippy notched their second when Richard Archer powered home a header from Helby's corner.
Danny Cleevely should have made it safe when faced with only the keeper to beat.
