Oxford City 3, Enfield 1: Substitute Neil Champelovier netted a double as Oxford City made hard work of beating Ryman League Division 1 North basement boys Enfield at Court Place Farm last night.
Early on, City took control with a couple of chances from Chris Harper, one on the half-volley that the keeper held, and a shot on the turn which went wide.
Neil Crosby then saw his strike pushed on to a post by keeper Rob Munn.
After 31 minutes, Robin Antonowicz headed home City's opener from Crosby's corner.
City's second goal came after 76 minutes when Champelovier netted his first of the game, before he completed his brace.
Minutes earlier, Labinot Krasiniqi fired over for the visitors.
Nicky Morgan then lashed home a spectacular shot from the centre spot which proved a late consolation for Enfield.
Oxford C: Benbow, Smillie, Dark (Champelovier 59), Antonowicz, Brown, Ferreira, Shepherd, Ballard, Simpson (Prescott 45), Harper, Crosby. Sub not used: Lee.
