SIR --I refer to letters calling on those responsible for the work in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, to be named and shamed.
Why not employ an engraver and place the names on the granite seats?
They will be permanently there -- until vandals start attacking the granite and the costs to clean them escalate further.
They could always let the space. The granite looks like tombstones, doesn't it?
How about -- RIP, £5.1m gone but not forgotten?
