Workers at a car parts supplier in Oxford are taking part in a 'sticker demonstration' rather than going on strike over union recognition.
Union official Adrian Jones is pictured with one of the stickers
In January, staff at Cowley-based UYS - formerly Unipart Yutaka Systems - voted overwhelmingly in favour of recognition, despite what an official described as "blatant threats" from management. Now frustrated workers are staging the protest in a bid to persuade their boss, Mori San, to sign an agreement. The stickers, some of which have been translated into Japanese, say 'Sign it, Mori'.
