OXVOX, the Independent Oxford United Supporters Trust, have welcomed Graham Rix's appointment.
The group has been one of Firoz Kassam's staunchest allies and have again offered their total support to the chairman.
In their latest statement, they urge fans to get behind the team.
"OxVox urges all fans to put their concerns and disappointments aside to offer their vocal support to the team over the final matches."
