Luggage trolleys are to be provided for passengers using Oxford's Gloucester Green bus station.
The 10 trolleys will help passengers move their luggage between the bus station and the taxi rank on the other side of the square.
The city council provided similar trolleys a number of years ago but they were all stolen.
Now the council is striking a deal with an advertising company.
It will provide the new trolleys at a cost of £12,000 for nothing, if they can also be used for advertising.
Executive board members agreed to go ahead with the idea.
Maureen Christian, executive member for culture and tourism, said: "I welcome this. At the moment, it's quite tricky for people to get their bags from the bus station to the taxi rank."
