Ben Lay and Adam Andrews are set to return for Oxford City Stars when they take on Sheffield Scimitars in the second leg of their English National League cup final at Oxpens Road ice rink tomorrow.
The Yorkshire side won last weekend's first leg 8-3 and Stars will have to pull out all the stops to overturn the five-goal deficit.
The game was close for the first two periods, but Stars suffered with their smaller squad in the final session as Sheffield took control, with Les Millie scoring a four-timer in a devastating third period.
And there is an outside chance that Stars, who only re-formed at the start of the season, could also ice Scott Gough and Andy Cox who have recoverd from injury.
Sheffield are likely to be without Neil Abel, though dangerman.
Sunday's final will be followed by a recreational match between Oxford Bulls and Streatham.

Oxford City Stars v Sheffield Scimitars
Oxford face a tough task at the Oxpens Road Rink this Sunday when they take on Sheffield Scimatars in the English National League Cup Final. In the first leg last weekend the game was close for the first two periods but Stars suffered for their smaller squad in the final session and will be hard pressed to make up the five goal deficit arising from that game.
Sunday sees the return of Ben Lay and Adam Andrews to the team and there is an outside chance of Scott Gough and Andy Cox being able to ice. This is Oxford's last game of a successful comeback season where they were league and play-off runners up as well as reaching this final and they will be hoping to go out with a big performance.
Sheffield are likely to be missing Neil Abel for this match but all of their other main players should be icing including Les Millie who scored the four unanswered goals in the third period last week. Sheffield have already won the Northern play-off championship and should be playing Invicta in the national play-off final later this month.
This Sunday's Final will be followed by a recreational hockey match between Oxford Bulls and Streatham which spectators are welcome to stay on and watch.
