Thame United 4, Tilbury 3: Young striker Tom Goffe was the Thame United hero as his late winner wrapped up their Ryman League Division 1 North campaign with a thrilling victory at Windmill Stadium on Saturday.
Thame forced all the early pressure with James Saulsbury, Andy Williams, who was playing his 200th Ryman League game, and Alex Stewart all going close.
However, it was the visitors who took the lead on 28 minutes when Paul Cobb netted.
Thame came out fired up for the second half and Kevin Franklin levelled on 49 minutes after good work from John Mitchell and Stewart.
Seven minutes later, Tilbury were back in front from Keith Wilson's superbly struck 25-yard free kick.
However, as a driving 45-yard run from Nando Perna allowed Franklin to grab his second goal of the game, via a deflection.
Mark Avery then put Thame ahead for the first time when he touched in a cross from Mark C Jones.
Tilbury substitute Niall Richie made it 3-3 shortly afterwards when he netted from close range for Tilbury.
Then, as a draw looked inevitable, Tilbury keeper Adam Seal tried dribbling out a back pass, only to be robbed by an alert Goffe who stabbed home the winner.
Thame Utd: Smith, Franklin (MS Jones, 83), Joyce, Saulsbury (Perna, 28), Williams, Avery, Freeman, Mitchell, Stewart (West, 64), M C Jones, Goffe. Subs not used: Barisic, Hocking.

Oxford City's Division 1 North home match with Dunstable on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The game, possibly Julian Dark's last for City after a long career, has been re-arranged for Wednesday.
