Fairford Tn 2, Brackley Tn 6: Brackley Town captured the Hellenic League Premier Division title - and they did it in style by hitting Fairford for six.

Needing a victory to be sure of winning the championship, Tim Fowler's side made no mistake to pip Southall on goal difference.

Strikers Kevin Slinn and Andy Baird scored two apiece, and Lewis Craker and Simon Dunlop also netted to avenge a recent defeat by Fairford.

Tuffley Rov 0, Didcot Tn 1: Mike Ford was the hero turned villian as he scored Didcot Town's winner from the penalty spot - before being sent off for a reckless challenge.

The former Oxford United defender coolly slotted home his spot-kick in the 62nd minute after Jody McKay was brought down in the box.

But Ford's day turned sour in the 75th minute when he saw red following a lunge on Jon Meadows.

Despite being reduced to ten men, Didcot, who had created the better chances, held on for victory and now look forward to the Challenge Cup final against Bishops Cleeve next Saturday.

Shortwood Utd 2, North Leigh 1: Youngster Andy Caton's injury-time penalty miss denied North Leigh a share of the spoils against Shortwood United, who are relegated.

Shortwood conceded the spot-kick for handball, but keeper Ewan Prentice saved Caton's effort in a dramatic finish.

North Leigh had gifted the home side two first-half goals, both scored by Chris Phillips.

But they got back into the game just after the hour when midfielder Nick Hughes snapped up a half chance to set up a thrilling finale.

Wootton Bassett Tn 5, Hook Norton 1: Hook Norton, already resigned to going down to Division 1 West after being refused planning approval for floodlights and a spectator stand, finished in the relegation zone after caving in at Wootton Bassett Town.

Geoff Swatton had a simple tap-in to put Wootton, who needed to win to be sure of staying up, ahead in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, Wootton stretched away with John Magani bagging a brace in the 60th and 82nd minutes, sandwiched around a Matt Bennett strike in the 70th minute.

Jake Tyrrell grabbed a consolation goal in the 86th minute, before player-coach Mike Byrne sealed Wootton's win with No 5 in the last minute.
