BRACKLEY Town finished their season in triumphant style as they added the Supplementary Cup to their Hellenic League Premier Division title with a 4-3 extra-time victory over Highworth Town at Fairford yesterday.
Brackley raced into a 2-0 lead by half-time with Louis Pilgrim and Kevin Slinn on target.
But Highworth rallied, and pulled one back two minutes after the restart through Ian McSherry.
Highworth levelled on the hour through Macklin, then Andy Baird missed a penalty 15 minutes from time, after a superb save by former Oxford United keeper Elliott Jackson.
Cooper then gave Highworth the lead for the first time, but with seconds remaining, Simon Dunlop drilled home an equaliser to take the match into extra time.
With five minutes left on the clock, Paul Lamb headed home a winner to complete a league and cup double for the Saints.
AFC Wallingford beat Cove 2-0 in yesterday's rearranged Seagrave Haulage League encounter at the Hithercroft.
Oxford City play their final Ryman League Division 1 North game of the season when they entertain Dunstable Town at Court Place Farm tonight (7.45).
Saturday's original game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
It was provisionally rearranged for tomorrrow night, but has now been brought forward 24 hours.
The game marks veteran Julian Dark's last appearance for the club.
