Commuters at Oxford Railway Station will be invited to join a huge drive to improve the UK's health and wellbeing.
Department of Health workers will be asking members of the public to take part in an on-the-spot survey as part of the Government's Choosing Health? consultation.
Ministers want to find out how they can help people make healthy choices, and station users will be quizzed about key issues, including smoking, obesity, diet, exercise and sexual health.
Oxford City Primary Care Trust's public health director Dr Jonathan McWilliam said: "We know that there are simple things we can do to improve our own health, like eating a healthy diet, stopping smoking and being more physically active.
"Many people are already taking these steps and are aware of the benefits to their health. However, it is crucial that we find out from the public what needs to be done to influence the choices people make about their health.
"Local people should take the opportunity to have a say on the future of their health."
Although health workers will be targeting commuters on May 5, all county residents are invited to take part in the consultation, and the PCT has an online questionnaire on their website www.oxfordcity-pct.nhs.uk
