Temperatures in Oxfordshire soared over the weekend - after the storms suffered earlier in the week.

Swimmers desperate to cool off as temperatures shot sky high yesterday (Sunday, August8) queued outside an outdoor pool in south Oxford waiting to be let in.
During the weekend, staff were faced with hordes of people at the gates of Hinksey Pool, off Abingdon Road, with thermometers reaching the mid-80s. The top temperature recorded by Met Office staff at RAF Benson was 29C (84F) on Saturday and Sunday.
Hinksey Pool assistant manager Oliver Rees said it was their busiest weekend this year.
He said: "We have had lots and lots of people through the doors. We have had queues when we open but it has been all right as we have had good staff on. It has been lovely."
Meanwhile, as Oxfordshire sweltered in scorching temperatures, medical students from Green College played beach ball in Cornmarket Street.
The undergraduates were dressed as the cast of Baywatch - famous for their skimpy red swimming costumes - to raise money for epilepsy charity, the David Scourse Memorial Fund.
One man showed his appreciation of the sun in Cornmarket Street by playing on a didgeridoo - more commonly seen in very hot countries like Australia.
But the sun-drenched weekend came to a close as rain returned to Oxfordshire yesterday evening.
Forecasters predict a drop in the temperature with more rain today (Monday, August 9) and cloudy weather for the rest of the week.
