Former Zimbabwe Test star Brian Murphy picked up another six-wicket haul as leaders Henley beat High Wycombe by 48 runs to take a giant stride towards the title.

Murphy returned figures of 6-32 with his leg spin to send the defending champions crashing to 90 all out on a poor Wycombe pitch.

It takes Henley a further ten points clear of their nearest pursuers, giving them a healthy 49-point cushion with just four games left.

Henley skipper Mick Hilditch had no hesitation in batting first on a wicket he believed would only deteriorate as the game progessed.

And so it proved, with Bjorn Mordt the only batsman from both sides to master the conditions as he made 69 out of Henley's 138 all out.

Murphy then worked his way through the Wycombe innings, with good support from Hamid Sana and Andy Edwards, as Henley completed the double over the title holders.
