Alchester's Sarah Heath continued her year of triumph on the track as she struck gold in both the 800m and 1500m in the European Veterans' Track & Field Championships in Arhus, Denmark.
She won her qualifying heat in the 800m, before cruising to victory in the final in a superb time of 2mins 14.6secs, showing a tremendous burst of speed in the final 200m to seal victory.
Her second gold of the championships came in the 1500m, where she ran a tactical race to finish more than five seconds ahead of her German rival in 4.35.99.
Heath then joined the 4x400m relay team as the third-leg runner, helping the team to silver in a tight race won by the German team.
