Residents are fed up with lorry drivers flouting a ban that stops them driving through a Bicester estate.
They claim up to 12 HGVs still use Churchill Road every day despite a weight restriction. The limit was imposed earlier this year and new bollards -- designed to keep out wide vehicles -- were built at the junction with Boston Road.
But the measures have led to truckers turning up Boston Road to get round them. Some drivers have even squeezed through the traffic islands.
Douglas Peverill, of Duxford Close, said: "There is a great big notice about the restrictions, but they don't take any notice."
County area highways engineer Colin Carritt said the road signs warning lorries of the ban would be looked at again if the problem carried on. Town councillor John Cozens, who lives off Churchill Road in St Anthony's Walk, said he had watched lorries drive through the bollards.
He said: "Once they turn into Churchill Road they are forced down Boston Road as a lot of them can't get through the pinch points, but there are some that try."
