Tributes and sympathetic messages, toys and teddy bears, were laid by young and old alike in memory of the teenager.
She was a pillion passenger on a motorbike ridden by Paul Baker, who was seriously injured.
The accident in Wimblestraw Road happened at 11.30pm on Saturday evening.
An independent police investigation set up because a police car was nearby at the time concluded the police had no involvement in the incident.
John Conway, licensee of the Village Inn, said: "It has been a tragedy affecting the whole community. Everyone has been shocked and stunned.
"You can tell how people have been hit by this by just looking at all those floral tributes.
"It has been a major talking point here and has left an air of gloom and shock over everyone."
At Berinsfield Family Centre, manager Lyn Williams said: "It was a dreadful thing to have happened - we feel so sorry for the people left behind."
Kim's mother lives in Didcot but the teenager lived in Ock Drive, Berinsfield, with Paul Baker, two half-brothers Connor, 12, and Dean, 11 and two half-sisters Fay nine and Zoe five. She went to school in Abingdon.
The cards and flowers were a touching reminder of how others felt about the girl's death. They all bore first names but no addresses.
Jade and Sonia left a message saying: "Wish we'd kept in touch - your best friends at Benson Junior School."
Another had a picture of Kim taken at Wallingford Carnival ten years ago when she was three.
A relative, Uncle Steve, said in his card: "Kim has now gone to heaven and will be missed by her cousins."
Other cards read: "A tragic waste of life in one so young" and "They only take the best".
Other members of the family wrote tributes saying: "You are now in the arms of the angels".
In Berinsfield people were still shocked by the death.
They said Kim, who is also known as Kim Baker, had not lived in Ock Drive very long.
Carrie Jameson, 27, from Wimblestraw Road said: "I didn't know her but you can't help mourning for one so young killed like that - a life just snatched away."
Maureen Combes, 31, of Fane Drive said: "Whatever the reason, it is a very tragic case."
