Abingdon Town boss Paul Berry will be hoping ex-Oxford United winger Joey Beauchamp can maintain his impressive pre-season form when they travel to Camberley Town for Saturday's Ryman League Division 2 opener tomorrow.
Beauchamp, who netted 17 goals last term has scored five goals in their six friendlies, having committed himself to the Culham Road club.
Town have snapped up midfielder Leighton Creer from City, plus the young Thame United duo of George Gibbons and Daniel Welsh.
Meanwhile, chairman Phil Evans has announced that the club's landlord's Oracle Leisure (Neath) are to give the club a "major" injection of cash. IN: Leighton Creer (Oxford City), George Gibbons, Daniel Welsh (both Thame Utd).
Out: Dave Tregurtha, Stuart Douglas, Jason Thomas, Jon Steadman (all Oxford C).
