A second-hand car dealership is to spray the inside of its vehicles to make them smell brand new in a ploy to win-over potential buyers.
The fragrance was created for Network Q by the Wallingford-based Aroma Company, which designs scents for "marketing solutions".
Network Q, which has 440 UK outlets, has worked with experts to design a special scent which is meant to recreate the odour of a new car.
It produces a mixture of smells, including leather, air freshener and fresh plastic.
The company will use the scent on used cars at one of its outlets to test customer reaction.
If this month's trial is successful it could be extended to the rest of the chain.
