IC3 Home Counties Premier League: Leaders Henley are considering dropping skipper Mick Hilditch for Saturday's top-of-the-table clash at Slough after incidents in last week's drawn match against Radlett.
Both teams were reported to the league by the umpires after some serious sledging, although no individuals were named.
Henley have yet to discuss events with Hilditch, who has been away on business this week, but he could find himself on the sidelines when he returns from South Africa.
Club chairman Danny Hall was quick to point out that the club were not blaming wicket-keeper Hilditch, but as captain, he held responsibility for the team.
He added: "We need to talk to Mick on his return, but there is a possibility that he could be suspended for two matches.
"We have to decide what action to take in the best interests of the game."
Henley have a 40-point lead over Slough, who are their only serious rivals for the title, and a win at Upton Court Road tomorrow would almost guarantee the crown.
Banbury are finishing the campaign with a bang and go for their fifth win on the trot when they travel to High Wycombe.
Veteran Neil Megson comes in for keeper Danny Harding, who is unavailable, and Mark Rorich replaces Calum Taylor.
Oxford take on Reading at Roman Way, with Stewart Laudat returning for the unavailable Russell Adams.
In Division 2 West, Aston Rowant bid to take another step away from the relegation zone when they host Farnham Royal. Nick O'Hara replaces Paul Humphreys.
Thame entertain leaders Tring Park full of confidence after two successive wins, which has seen them pull away from the drop zone. Adam Krol replaces Tom Collis.
