Hellenic news: Oxford United goalkeeping legend Alan Judge is set to make his debut for Chipping Norton Town when they travel to Shortwood United for their GLS Hellenic League Premier Division opener on Saturday.
Alan JudgeJudge, 44, the U's goalkeeping coach, who played a handful of games for Didcot Town last season, comes in for the injured Jeremy Winter (hamstring).
Boss Phil Heath played with Judge at Oxford who agreed to help out on a temporary basis.
Chippy have added Jamie Clarke (Witney Town), Mark Sheffield (Enstone), Chris Stanley (Highworth Town), Ian Fraser (Middle Barton), Mark Johnson (Cheltenham College), Anthony Akers, Richard McCabe, Alan Shadbolt (all Chadlington) to their squad.
Milton United could be without their former Oxford United youngster Rob Lovegrove (head injury) when they entertain Carterton.
Didcot Town striker Ian Concannon should shake off a hamstring injury in time for their trip to Witney United.
Town, who lost Paul Powell, Mike Ford and Jake King to Brackley in the summer, are without Jamie Heapy (wedding), while Danny Morgan (back) is doubtful.
Town boss Stuart Peace, who took over from Pete Foley, said: "Promotion is always our priority, but I'm not setting any targets just yet."
